This is a chiming wall clock, but the chimes can be adjusted to strike hourly, every fifteen minutes or not at all. If you decide a chime would be a pleasant addition to your surroundings, the volume can be adjusted as required.

The clock is battery-powered, remaining unaffected by power failures or other electrical problems.
